How the Corru-Gator Works
Preparing
to Corrugate
Sharpen the blade to be corrugated on the Twice as Sharp® scissors sharpening system. Wolff suggests setting you angle at about 25°.
Proper
Clamp Position
Put the scissors blade into the clamp and on the arm on the Corru-Gator in the "Hone Right" position.
Start
Corrugating
Start at the pivot at a slight angle.
Letting
the Wheel Work
Move the blade flat against the corrugating wheel. Let the Corru-Gator spiral cut wheel pull the scissors blade across the face of the wheel. Maintain light pressure while keeping the blade flat against the wheel. When the tip of the scissors blade is in the middle of the corrugating wheel remove it from the wheel.
Final
Result
When complete, you will have a row of even/ clean teeth along the length of the cutting edge.
